• Goldie is lovely 4 year old purebred Connemara gelding, he’s standing at 14.2hh.
• Goldie is a gorgeous pony, a beautiful dun, a true to type with a leg in each corner and plenty of bone. He is a straight mover and would make a lovely show pony or working hunter.
• He is easy to ride, he has a soft snaffle mouth, he has three steady and easy paces.
• Goldie should be ideal for novice, mother daughter share, kids moving up from smaller ponies.
• He is easy to ride, jump, hack out, do cross country. He has a steady pace going into jumps and has jumped here up to 90cm with potential to jump higher in the future.
• Goldie has a soft mouth, he rides in a nice outline, he is a very loveable pony with a good temperament, he is friendly, easy to shoe, box, catch, ride and in traffic.
• He hacks out alone and in company, good in traffic.
• Goldie is really well bred, his Sire is Clegganbay Tower.

• His Damsire is Janus.

Janus was Pony of the Year in 2004, having won many In-Hand and Dressage and Ridden Championships.  Janus had many successful progeny in Sweden, France and Denmark, his invaluable qualities of conformation and movement and his incredible temperament passed on to Irish-born ponies. His Swedish based Sire, Oxenholm Marble Junior was top of the Swedish Connemara Pony Society’s sire conformation rating for 10 years. He was RDS Champion in Dublin and in the same year he also took Championship sashes at Ballyconneely and Oughterard Shows. In ’08 he was Midlands Ridden Champion. He secured the Reserve Ridden Championship at Galway County Show in June ’09 and later won the Supreme Championship in Ardrahan.
