• Roger is a 4 year old purebred Connemara gelding, standing at 15hh.
• He is a very pretty horse, well put together with a beautiful head, he is a straight mover and should be suitable for showing and working hunter classes.
• Roger is very quiet and he is easy to ride, he has a soft snaffle mouth, he should be suitable for novice, riding school, mother daughter share.
• He is good to hack out and he is fantastic in traffic, he is easy to shoe, box, catch and ride.
• Roger is a purebred Connemara with all class 1 breeding, his Sire is Slackport Prince.

• Slackport Prince won the Supreme Championship and the Jan Harald Koelichen Cup in 2018, he was the fourteenth stallion to do so since the cup was first presented in 1965.It has been won by mares on 39 occasions. So, the mares win it 3;1. Slackport Prince is unique in that he is THE ONLY STALLION to win whose sire has also won it. Gurteen Cathal (Kevin Bolger) won the trophy in 2013.

• Rogers Dam is by I Love You Melody.

• I love you Melody, who has passed away in 2022 covered on average 70 to 80 mares per year and he remains a much sought-after performance stallion. He currently has more than 100 offspring registered with Showjumping Ireland, almost 20 of whom are grade A.

• Roger is a very sweet and easy gelding, he has a great jump and jumped here up to 1m, he has a great technique and is careful. He has beennschooled over cross country and he jumps banks, coffins , water and ditches.
• Roger should make a lovely riding club or pony club horse, he should suit for any equestrian discipline, especially working hunter, showjumping, hunting,…
